DC's first announcement on the creative teams for their September relaunch left me deeply underwhelmed (very much like these
guys). After all, it just looked like they were reshuffling most of their existing talent pool rather than truly shaking things up. But then I saw the cover for
Wonder Woman #1 drawn by
Cliff Chiang, and for some strange reason I thought "AWESOME!" despite my ambivalence towards the new costume. What's that all about?
Then again, he's already quite good at making DC's heroines
rock out.
